Terms of Service

1. What Prod-Genie is

Prod-Genie helps music professionals map the creative team behind a release. You paste a public Spotify or Genius link (an album, song, artist, or playlist) and we organize the publicly available credit information for it — producers, engineers, songwriters and other credited collaborators — along with public professional signals to help you identify who to reach out to. Prod-Genie does not host, stream, download, or sell any music or audio.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Prod-Genie. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. We allow one account per person; we may limit multiple accounts created from the same device or network. You agree to provide accurate information and to use a personal, working email address.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or harassment;
• resell, redistribute, or build a competing dataset from Prod-Genie's output;
• scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent limits of the service;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone's rights.

Prod-Genie is a research and professional-networking tool. It does not send messages on your behalf, and how you contact the people you find is your responsibility.

4. Data, sources & no guarantees

Prod-Genie processes publicly available information through official sources (including the Genius and Spotify APIs) and public professional profiles. Instagram handles are shown only when a contributor has publicly listed one on their own public profile; we do not guess, invent, or scrape private contact details.

Our "Access Signal™" and relevance scores are estimates based on public signals. They are not guarantees of a response, reply, introduction, collaboration, or placement, and you should independently verify any information before relying on it.

5. Plans, credits & payments

Prod-Genie offers a free plan and paid monthly subscriptions. Each fresh scan uses credits; results already cached from a previous scan are served for free. Credits are allotted per billing period and do not roll over. Paid plans renew automatically each period until cancelled.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to the payment provider's terms. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The underlying credit information originates from public sources and their respective owners. Prod-Genie owns the software, design, and the way we compile, score, and present the information. You may use the output for your own professional research; you may not redistribute it as a standalone product or dataset.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prod-Genie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using Prod-Genie and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that harms other users, the service, or third parties.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
